Google Analytics settings allow you to configure UTM parameters for your XPoster links. These will work either with or without a URL shortener.

By default, no analytics are enabled. You can set them up with either a static campaign identifier (the same code added to all links), or with a dynamic identifier.
The dynamic identifier can be sourced from post information: it can use a category, post ID, post title, or post author to generate an identifier for the specific post.
These parameters are used in the utm_campaign
parameter.
Note: at this time, all UTM medium and UTM source parameters indicate Twitter. There are filters to customize these, but the order of events in the plugin right now mean that links are generated before the service in use is known, so adjusting these parameters based on service is a future change.
