Filters allow you to add detailed custom parameters that will prevent certain types of content from being posted as status updates.
Each filter gets a field to test against, a type of test, and a value to test for.
You can filter against the Post title, Post content, permalink, short URL, post status, post type, post ID, author ID, or post excerpt.
Filter types include “is equal to”, “does not contain”, “contains”, or “is not equal to”.
For example, you could choose “Post Content”, “contains”, and the word “Twitter”. With those settings, any post that mentioned Twitter in the post content would be blocked, and no status updates would be sent.
